Canon USA introduces five new Lrger format printers, large format imagePrograph: iPF9400 and iPF9400S 60 in, iPF8400s 44 in, iPF450 and iPF6400 24 in.
All of these models use Canon's pigment ink Lucia: for the 9400S series 8 colors (CMYK + Photo cyan + photo magenta + gray + matte black). Medium all 12 color models (CMYKRGB + Photo cyan + photo magenta + gray + matte black).
The ink tank size for models 9400, 9400S and 8400 is 330 ml (700 ml optinal). While for 6450 and 6400 models have a tank size of 130 ml (300 ml otional).
All of these new Canon printers offer a maximum resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi, and 9400 and 9400S models can print for 60 in.
In addition all of these imagePrograf models are already integrated with design features to help their users achieve consistent color. Terms into this Tool include: Multi-Sensor to increase density, accuracy and color stability. While Color Calibration Management Console will allow users to execute and monitor calibration status on each printer from a PC, and Media ConfigurationTool will help users update and customize printers and drivers with Canon media information.
The other flaws of this printer are: the Galery wrap feature which makes it easy to create photo frames from the gallery. Adjusment Pattern Setting will help when will print files from different versions with different color settings. While the Tint and Tone Adjustment feature will control four monochorom color shadows and create an expressive black color with smooth gradations.
Poster Artist Lite is standard software available on iPF8400, 6450 and 6400 models. Poster Artist (full edition) is optional for all models. Spectrophotometer is also optional for the iPF6450 model

How to install the driver for Canon imagePROGRAF IPF8400S:
