Outstanding quality
The iPF 6100 produces exceptional quality prints on A1 media thanks to Canon's industry-leading dual-head LUCIA II 12-colour pigment ink system. The system delivers exceptional colour gamut and uses less ink than some conventional systems, reducing the need for colour mixing and lowering operating costs. What's more, LUCIA inks guarantee prints with both consistent colour gradation and less graininess and metallic effect, for consistently impressive results.
Precision and consistency
The iPF 6100 includes a user-friendly integrated colour calibration system that guarantees excellent results without wasting time. In addition to consistency between devices, a unique feature of the iPF 6100 is the ability (once calibrated) to adjust the flow of ejected ink according to the media used. As a result, no external calibration device is required. What's more, the initial calibration process takes just 10 minutes.
Outstanding productivity
Like all Canon imagePROGRAF large format printers, the iPF 6100 uses a high-density dual printhead that packs 30,720 nozzles into just two 1-inch heads. The resulting 4pl (picolitre) ink droplets ensure subtle colour gradation, high definition reproduction and precision. Despite these exacting standards of print performance, the iPF 6100 can produce A1-size draft prints in just 67 seconds.
A 3-way paper feed system offers real flexibility: from canvas to glossy paper ranging from 0.07 to 1.5 mm thick.
The iPF 6100 also offers a range of powerful software applications for use in both professional and specialist printing environments:
- imagePROGRAF Digital Photo Front Access lets you edit images at the touch of a button.
- imagePROGRAF Plug-In for Photoshop allows users to export 16-bit RGB images processed with Adobe Photoshop directly to the imagePROGRAF printer.
- Poster Artist poster design software (optional) lets you easily create stunning posters using over 1,000 templates and images.

The iPF 6100 has been designed with user-friendliness in mind. In addition to automatic angle correction, a large LCD screen constantly shows the user the media in use and remaining ink levels to ensure constant productivity.
